Salesforce’s Einstein Copilot Empowered with AI Upgrade to Tackle Unstructured Data

Salesforce is set to give its Einstein Copilot a boost in the competitive generative AI space. At the Salesforce World Tour New York 2023 event, the company unveiled an upgrade for its conversational AI assistant, which will be integrated into all Salesforce applications. The upgraded Einstein Copilot will have the ability to retrieve information from unstructured data, such as PDFs and emails. This feature will be particularly useful for Salesforce customers in sales, customer service, marketing, commerce, and IT, who often deal with unorganized data in their everyday business operations. Salesforce also introduced Einstein Copilot Search, which will provide enhanced AI search capabilities and smart suggestions by tapping into real-time unstructured and structured business data. The Data Cloud Vector Database, which unifies all business data, will enable Einstein Copilot and Copilot Search to access unstructured data. This will save businesses time and money by eliminating the need to fine-tune large language models and provide access to previously unattainable information. Salesforce’s Data Cloud Vector Database and Einstein Copilot Search will be available in pilot in February 2024, with Einstein Copilot becoming generally available at the same time. While Salesforce’s Copilot has not been released yet, Microsoft has already developed various Copilots for different enterprise needs, which can give users an idea of how Salesforce’s Copilot will function.
